Problem
The Nova Earbuds project involved designing a pair of earbuds and their charging case, combining 3D modeling, animation, and web development. Starting with research and concept sketches, I created detailed Cinema 4D models with multiple colour variations and an X-ray view of internal components. Using RedShift materials, lighting, and animation, I produced promotional images, animations, and AR objects with interactive hotspots and exploded views. These assets were integrated into a responsive, mobile-first website using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and GreenSock (GSAP), featuring scroll-driven interactions, an X-ray slider, and hotspot-based informational displays. The project showcases the integration of multimedia authoring, motion design, and web development to highlight both the aesthetics and functionality of the Nova earbuds.
Responsibility
As a Front-End Developer, Web Designer and Motion Graphics Designer I Led the design and development of the Nova earbuds and charging case by conducting research, creating concept sketches, and producing detailed Cinema 4D models with multiple colour variations and X-ray views of internal components. Applied RedShift materials, lighting, and animation to generate promotional images, animations, and AR assets with interactive hotspots and exploded views. Developed a responsive, mobile-first website using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and GreenSock (GSAP), integrating interactive features such as scroll-driven animations, an X-ray slider, and hotspot-based informational displays, while managing the project workflow with GitHub and structured development practices.
Design Process
As a 3D Model and Motion Graphics Designer I led the creative development of the Nova Earbuds Showcase starting from in depth research and concept sketches to produce highly detailed Cinema 4D models of the earbuds and charging case including multiple colour variations. I designed an X ray view of the internal components and created scroll driven animations as motion graphics to visually demonstrate the products structure functionality and intricate details. Using RedShift materials lighting and advanced animation techniques I produced high quality promotional images dynamic motion graphics sequences and AR ready assets featuring interactive hotspots and exploded views. The project highlights my ability to combine precise 3D modeling with compelling motion design to create visually engaging presentations that showcase both the aesthetics and technical sophistication of a futuristic product.
As the web developer for the Nova Earbuds Showcase, I built a fully interactive, mobile-first product website designed to highlight the earbuds through smooth motion and user-driven experiences. I integrated Cinema 4D–rendered assets into a responsive layout using HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript, ensuring fast performance and clean visual presentation across all screen sizes. Using Green Sock (GSAP) and Scroll Trigger, I created scroll-based animations that sync product movements, and section transitions to the user’s scrolling. I also implemented interactive features including hotspot-based information points, an X-ray comparison slider, and animated color-variation switching. Throughout development, I followed structured front-end practices, organized code using modular SCSS, and managed the workflow with GitHub for version control. The final result is a polished, motion-integrated product website that combines clean UI design with engaging web interactions to showcase the Nova earbuds in a modern, immersive way.
Final Result
Created detailed Cinema 4D models of the Nova earbuds and charging case, including multiple colour variations and an X-ray version showcasing internal components. Applied RedShift materials and lighting to produce high-quality renders, exploded views, and AR-ready assets optimized for web and promotional use. Produced engaging motion content using After Effects and RedShift renders, including scroll-based animations for the website and a standalone promotional video. Developed dynamic product rotations, X-ray sequences, colour transitions, and smooth camera movements to highlight the earbuds’ design and functionality. Built a responsive, mobile-first website integrating 3D renders and motion graphics using HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and GSAP. Implemented interactive features like hotspot information points, X-ray sliders, and scroll-synced animations, delivering a modern, immersive showcase of the Nova earbuds.
